Question 1

How do I measure my head for the right cap size?

Accepted Answer

Grab a soft measuring tape and take three measurements: Circumference (wrap the tape around your head from your front hairline, behind your ears, around the nape, and back to start), Front to Nape (from your front hairline straight back over the crown to the nape), and Ear to Ear (across your front hairline from the top of one ear to the other). Always measure with your natural hair braided or wrapped flat, exactly as you'll wear it under the wig.

Question 2

What cap sizes do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer three standard sizes: Petite (21 to 21.5 inches), Average (22 to 22.5 inches, most common), and Large (23 to 23.5 inches). Most Gladiolaz units include internal adjustment straps, so if you're between sizes, go with the larger size and tighten the straps for a comfortable, secure fit.

Question 3

Why does my curly or wavy wig look shorter than the listed length?

Accepted Answer

Curls and waves create natural shrinkage. All hair lengths at Gladiolaz are measured when the strand is gently stretched straight, so a curly or wavy unit will appear a few inches shorter than the same length in a straight style because of the curl pattern's bounce. To see the true length, pull a single strand straight.

Question 4

Does the length measurement include the lace?

Accepted Answer

No. Length is measured from the hair's point of origin at the crown. The lace area and any forehead overhang are not included in the length.

Question 5

Can I wear a wig if I have a lot of natural hair?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Braid your natural hair into small cornrows or a flat wrap before putting on the wig. This keeps the cap from feeling too tight or looking bulky, and gives you the flattest, most natural-looking base.

Question 6

What type of hair do you use — is it real human hair?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every Gladiolaz unit is crafted from 100% virgin human hair that is chemical-free, meaning the cuticle remains fully intact. Gladiolaz specializes in premium Brazilian hair, known for being thick, soft, and durable, and widely considered the gold standard for blending effortlessly with natural hair.

Question 7

How do I know the hair is authentic and not synthetic?

Accepted Answer

Authentic human hair retains natural movement, can be bleached or dyed, and responds to heat tools just like your own hair, while synthetic fibers melt under high heat and resist pigment. Gladiolaz products have also passed strict inspections by the National Hair Care Products Quality Supervision Center.

Question 8

Is Gladiolaz hair ethically sourced?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Gladiolaz is committed to ethical sourcing practices, ensuring the hair is obtained responsibly and treated with the highest level of care before it reaches the customer.

Question 9

Can I dye or bleach my wig?

Accepted Answer

Yes, because Gladiolaz hair is 100% virgin human hair, it can be colored, bleached, and heat-styled to match your personal aesthetic. For bleaching to a lighter shade such as 613 blonde, it's recommended to have it done by a professional stylist to maintain the health and softness of the strands.

Question 10

Why does my new hair have a scent when I open the package?

Accepted Answer

That light, fresh scent comes from the protective moisture treatment applied before shipping to ensure the hair arrives soft and conditioned. It is completely normal and disappears after the first wash.

Question 11

Is some shedding normal?

Accepted Answer

A small amount of shedding is normal, just like with your own hair. Heavy shedding is not the standard, though, and Gladiolaz stands behind the construction of its wefts and caps. Following the care guide, especially detangling gently from ends to roots, minimizes shedding significantly.

Question 12

Can I use heat tools on my wig?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Gladiolaz hair is 100% human hair, so flat irons, curling tongs, and blow dryers can be used just as on natural hair. Always apply a heat protectant spray before using hot tools, and avoid high heat every single day since excessive heat over time can shorten the lifespan of the hair fibers.

Question 13

How often should I wash my wig?

Accepted Answer

If worn daily, wash every 7 to 10 wears. If worn occasionally, wash when product buildup appears or the hair starts to feel heavy. Over-washing can strip moisture, so less is more.

Question 14

How do I wash my wig properly?

Accepted Answer

Detangle first with a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends and working up. Soak the unit in lukewarm water with a capful of wig shampoo for 10 minutes, gently swirling and never rubbing. Rinse under cool running water until clear, pat dry with a soft towel without wringing, apply a leave-in conditioner on the ends, and air dry completely on a wig stand before styling.

Question 15

My hair feels dry — what should I do?

Accepted Answer

A deep conditioning treatment or a small amount of Moroccan oil applied to the ends can restore moisture and shine quickly. Going forward, use lightweight serums and sulfate-free shampoos to keep the hair hydrated without buildup.

Question 16

What products should I avoid?

Accepted Answer

Avoid heavy oils, waxes, and products with sulfates, since these weigh the hair down, cause buildup, and can dull its natural luster over time. Stick to lightweight, wig-friendly serums and sulfate-free shampoos.

Question 17

Can I sleep in my wig?

Accepted Answer

It's recommended to remove the wig at night to extend its lifespan. If sleeping in it is unavoidable, wear a silk bonnet or use a satin pillowcase to prevent friction, tangling, and frizz.

Question 18

How long will my Gladiolaz wig last?

Accepted Answer

With consistent care, a Gladiolaz wig lasts 6 to 12 months for daily wearers and 12 or more months for occasional wearers. How the hair is stored and maintained when not worn is just as important as how it's treated while being worn.

Question 19

How should I store my wig?

Accepted Answer

Place it on a mannequin head or wig stand to help the cap hold its shape. For travel or long-term storage, put the clean, dry hair in a silk or satin bag to prevent friction and frizz, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Question 20

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Gladiolaz accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), digital wallets (PayPal, Shop Pay, Google Pay), and Buy Now Pay Later via Afterpay where available. All transactions are processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant payment systems.

Question 21

How long does shipping take?

Accepted Answer

Shipping times vary based on location and the delivery method selected at checkout. Estimated delivery dates are shown during the checkout process before the order is placed.

Question 22

How do I track my order?

Accepted Answer

As soon as a package leaves the facility, customers receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and real-time tracking link. Shop Pay orders can also be tracked directly through the Shop app.

Question 23

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

Accepted Answer

There is only a small window after placing an order to request a cancellation or modification, since orders are processed quickly. Once processing or shipping has begun, changes can no longer be guaranteed, so customers should contact support immediately if an adjustment is needed.

Question 24

I entered the wrong shipping address — what do I do?

Accepted Answer

Contact support immediately. If the order hasn't shipped yet, the address can be updated at no cost. If it has already shipped, the customer will need to contact the carrier directly, and rerouting a package may cause delays or additional carrier fees.

Question 25

My package says "delivered" but I haven't received it — what now?

Accepted Answer

First check with neighbors or building management. If the package still can't be located, contact the support team within 48 hours so a claim can be opened with the carrier.
